I know absolutely nothing about cars and it gets me into trouble

Ok I started to write a blog not too long ago and it completely erased on me. I'll try again, but there's gonna be a little switch. I'll start with last night. I got done with class at oh about 6:40 pm and rushed to my car to drive to UVU campus for Institute (this is a picture similar to my beautiful car). I had been driving for about 10 minutes when I noticed something wasn't right. The car just wasn't dirving as well. Anyway, as I'm turning from State St. onto University Pkwy, which happen to be two of the busiest roads at night near Provo, my car blacks out! The lights on the dashboard, headlights, interior lights, and the radio completely shut off for two seconds. It was quick, but felt just like a power bump. Anyway, as soon as I turned the corner, they came back on, and instantly I could smell something terrible, similar to burning rubber. Also my air bag light came on so I started panicking thinking that my car would explode! I pulled off the road and immediately turned off my car, fearing that if I left it on or stayed inside it might blow up (weird I know, but freak accidents happen). I quickly called my dad, told him the problem; he then called Linsi, who called Jonathan, who then came to check the car out. (I also texted Tara and told her I wouldn't be coming to Institute). We could not start the car, so Jonathan started pushing it to the nearest parking lot. While he's doing so I'm in the front stearing, and two men from separate cars stop in the middle of the road and run to help him! I love Utah!! Anyway, it was concluded that I would need a tow to the Saturn dealership. Right then I looked and had a text from my friend Mike saying: I'm at Institute but I can come meet you and get you a free tow, I have AAA. This was perfect. I told him to stay and waited at Linsi's apartment. After his class got over, he met me there, and we then waited for 45 minutes for a tow truck...it came and there was paperwork, then we finally left. Wow, first of all can I just say what a stud Mike DiFiore is?? He got me a free tow, and waited with me for about an hour :) I'm so thankful for so many helpful friends and family! My parents were at home figuring out all the technical stuff and making phone calls for me, cause my phone died of course. Since last night I've been bumming rides off of several people, including my rommates, friends, and family. Thanks for everyone that has helped me out!!! I'll have to write my other blog, this one was super long and intense.
